Mothering during a pandemic – book chapter

đź“š A brand new chapter!!! It is a part this epic collection On Mothering during a Pandemic.

This chapter is dedicated to all the mamas I interviewed as part of my research role at Peach Tree Perinatal Wellness who shared with me the Good, the Bad and the Ugly!

I took a small part of these interviews under my feminist and matrocentric microscope (thank you Andrea O’Reilly!), and explored women’s narratives in depth!

Particularly, the way mothers took in the full responsibility for their children DESPITE the pandemic and experienced lots of its negative impact as personal failures.
Unfortunately, that is no surprise… mothers do this with and without a pandemic.

If you are keen to know more head to Demeter press, the only Feminist Press dedicated to Motherhood and Mothering research and studies, and order a hot-out-of -the-press copy!

With love,
